New Everton Cazoo Shirt Sponsorship deal 2020- 3 year contract to replace SportPesa

Everton have signed a new deal with car retail company Cazoo that will see the latter replace SportPesa as the Toffees’ primary shirt sponsor beginning the 2020/21 Premier League season. The deal is for a period of three years (till the end of the 2022/23 season) and is reportedly worth £10m a year. The Toffees will thus now have both new kit makers (Hummel) and kit sponsors for their upcoming league campaign.

Everton’s deal with SportPesa, signed in 2017, was for an original period of five years before the club announced in February this year that two parties had agreed to terminate their relationship.

Cazoo is a firm founded by businessman Alex Chesterman, who also set up LoveFilm and Zoopla before selling them to Amazon and Silver Lake respectively. Chesterman’s Zoopla were shirt sponsors of West Bromwich Albion in the 2012/13 and 2013/14 seasons, but that deal was worth around £1.5m/year, as opposed to the near £10m/year they are reportedly now paying the Toffees. New Kilmarnock FC Strip 2020-21 | Killie’s first ever Hummel home kit unveiled

This is the new Killie strip 2020/21, Kilmarnock FC’s new home top for the upcoming Scottish Premiership season. Made by Hummel, the new kit is the first to be produced by the Danish firm as part of a three year deal they inked with the club to replace Nike, and was officially unveiled on June 5, 2020.

The new Killie Hummel jersey also has new primary shirt sponsors in the form of local company Brownings the Bakers, who replace QTS on the front. Brownings, like Hummel, have signed a three year shirt sponsorship deal beginning the 20/21 season. Continue reading →

New SC Freiburg Limited Edition Shirt 2019-20 | SCF & Hummel unveil special kit to be worn vs Monchengladbach

This is the new SC Freiburg special jersey 2019/2020, a limited edition shirt that will be worn by the Bundesliga outfit when they square off against Borussia Monchengladbach at home on Friday evening (June 5, 2020). This special kit (sondertrikot), made by Hummel, was officially unveiled on June 4, 2020.

The shirt features red and white stripes on the front (the back is plain though). On the reverse, there is 1904 on the neck (the year of SCF’s founding) as well as a silhouette of the city of Freiburg. On the sleeve, the words “Freiburg mehr als fussball” (Freiburg- more than football) can be seen.

10 euros from the sale of every special kit will be given to charity (SC Freiburg Hilft campaign) in aid of those affected by the coronavirus pandemic in Freiburg. 1904 pieces will go on sale, and each piece will have its unique number. Continue reading →
