Ayr United have inked a new kit deal with Hummel that will see the latter make uniforms for the Scottish Championship club beginning the 2020/21 season. The new deal was officially announced today (March 24, 2020) and brings an end to the club’s six year partnership with Adidas. Danish firm Hummel will now supply shirts for the next four seasons (2020/21, 2021/22, 2022/23 and 2023/24). The club also chose this occasion to unveil their new home shirt- the first as part of this new deal. It will be paired with black shorts and white socks.
Hummel had announced a deal with Kilmarnock last month and have now brought Ayr, who have previously been known for using models in body paint to reveal their kits, on board.
The value of the deal was not revealed, but the club have said it’s a record contract. Continue reading
