Southampton have announced a new kit deal with Hummel that will see the Danish firm become the club’s new shirt suppliers beginning the 2021/22 season. The two parties have inked a five year contract and this also brings an end to Saints’ existing arrangement with US based Under Armour, who have been outfitting the club since 2016. Southampton’s deal with UA was for an original period of seven years (so ending two years in advance) and was reportedly worth around 4m pounds a year. Continue reading
These are the new Southampton kits 2020/21, Saints FC’s new home and third jerseys for the upcoming Premier League season. Made by Under Armour, the new Saints FC strips were officially unveiled on July 8, 2020.
Both new shirts feature a sash design as part of the club’s 135th anniversary- Saints had them in their kits back in 1885. The home jersey is predominantly red with a white sash, and will be paired with black shorts and red socks.
The third top is white with a red sash, and will be an all-white affair, set to be paired with white shorts and socks. The club have also unveiled two goalkeeper jerseys- one yellow and the other pink. Both strips have the words “We March On” inside the neck, as can be seen in the pics below. These are the new AZ Alkmaar shirts 2020/21, AZ’s new away and third kits for the upcoming Eredivisie season. The two jerseys are the first to be released as part of a new kit deal between AZ and Nike that will see the latter replace Under Armour as the club’s principal shirt partners. The AZ Alkmaar Nike contract is for a period of five years, beginning in 20/21 and till the end of the 24/25 league season. Under Armour’s contract was for a similar period, with the Maryland based firm having replaced Macron as AZ’s kit suppliers in 2015.
With AZ having finished second in the 2019/20 Eredivisie season behind Ajax when the league was cancelled due to Covid-19, it also means the Alkmaar outfit will wear Nike in the Champions League next season.
The new AZ away shirt for 2020/21 is an all blue creation modelled by Yukinari Sugawara below, while the third kit is the one worn by Calvin Stengs. AFAS remain principal shirt sponsors. Continue reading
These are the new Southampton kits 2019/20, Saints’ new home, away and third shirts for the upcoming Premier League season. Made by Under Armour, the new Southampton strips were officially unveiled on 17 May, 2019.
The new Southampton home shirt features the club’s red and white stripes, but with black detailing around the shoulders and the cuffs. The new away kit is a grey and volt creation from the UA stable, while a white one will serve as the club’s second alternate/third jersey.
This is the new AZ shirt 2019/20, AZ Alkmaar’s new home kit for the upcoming Eredivisie season. Made by Under Armour, the new AZ Alkmaar jersey was officially unveiled on 12 May, 2019, on the eve of their clash against PSV Eindhoven. They made a winning debut in the new strip, emerging 1-0 victors in their final home game of the season, and thus also effectively ending PSV’s title hopes. Continue reading
These are the new Southampton kits 2018/19, Saints FC’s new home and away strips for the upcoming Premier League season. Made by Under Armour, the new Saints uniforms were officially unveiled on 16 June, 2018, with two local junior sides chosen to debut the kits.
The club narrowly survived relegation in the 17/18 season, finishing three points Swansea despite having fewer wins than the latter.
The new home kit features stripes on the front, but with an all-red back, and will be paired with black shorts and red and black socks. Continue reading
