These are the new Southampton kits 2019/20, Saints’ new home, away and third shirts for the upcoming Premier League season. Made by Under Armour, the new Southampton strips were officially unveiled on 17 May, 2019.
The new Southampton home shirt features the club’s red and white stripes, but with black detailing around the shoulders and the cuffs. The new away kit is a grey and volt creation from the UA stable, while a white one will serve as the club’s second alternate/third jersey.
All three new kits will be sponsored by LD Sports– the first of a three year deal inked with the company. Virgin Media will now appear as a sleeve sponsor. Continue reading
This is the new AZ shirt 2019/20, AZ Alkmaar’s new home kit for the upcoming Eredivisie season. Made by Under Armour, the new AZ Alkmaar jersey was officially unveiled on 12 May, 2019, on the eve of their clash against PSV Eindhoven. They made a winning debut in the new strip, emerging 1-0 victors in their final home game of the season, and thus also effectively ending PSV’s title hopes. Continue reading
These are the new Southampton kits 2018/19, Saints FC’s new home and away strips for the upcoming Premier League season. Made by Under Armour, the new Saints uniforms were officially unveiled on 16 June, 2018, with two local junior sides chosen to debut the kits.
The club narrowly survived relegation in the 17/18 season, finishing three points Swansea despite having fewer wins than the latter.
The new home kit features stripes on the front, but with an all-red back, and will be paired with black shorts and red and black socks. Continue reading
Two seasons after inking a five year deal with Under Armour, Aston Villa have parted ways with the Baltimore based firm and officially announced a rather unique kit contract with Luke 1977 and Fanatics.
Luke 1977 is owned by Luke Roper, a Villa fan, and the new 18/19 shirts will be designed by him. However every other part of the chain, right from manufacturing to selling, will be done by Fanatics, the sports merchandising firm that bought UK retailer Kitbag back in 2016.
At the time of writing, Championship outfit Villa are very much in the hunt for a return to the Premier League in the 2018/19 season. Continue reading
These are the new Villa shirts 2017/18, AVFC’s new home and away kits for the upcoming Championship season. Made by Under Armour, the new AVFC tops were officially unveiled over the weekend (July 1, 2017). Among the players to be wearing it next season will be former Chelsea legend John Terry, whose move to Villa Park was officially announced by Villa chairman Dr.Tony Xia today.
Both the home and away jerseys feature a new principal sponsor in Unibet, who have inked a deal to appear on the front for the 2017/18 season. Continue reading
