New Hearts Strip 2017-2018 | HMFC Umbro Home Top 17-18

This is the new Hearts kit 2017/18, Heart of Midlothian FC’s new home strip for the upcoming SPL season. The Edinburgh based outfit have inked a new deal with Umbro (who last made kits for them back in 2011/12) and parted ways with Puma after two seasons. The new top was officially unveiled on 16 June, 2017 by the club.

The shirt is a modern take on the uniform Umbro supplied to the club back in 1977, with the reintroduction of the running diamond. It also features a collar and will be paired with white shorts. Save the Children continue to appear on the front of the jersey for the third season running.

Hearts finished 5th in the Scottish Premiership in 2016/17 and thus missed out on a spot in Europe, with Aberdeen, Rangers and St.Johnstone picking up the Europa League qualifying spots.

Nike boots on an Umbro photoshoot?! #triggered

Seriously though, this is a beautiful, beautiful kit. A lot of people saying Umbro are subpar this season but this is probably their best kit since the 2009 England one. Same cottony material too, which is always a bonus.

Think the diamond theme lends itself better to one-colour clubs. Not keen on the rumoured Wet Sham version with claret armpits although there have been wilder variatons on their traditional colours in the past.
