Green & White Liverpool Away Top 2017-18 | LFC Alternate Strip 17-18

This is the new Liverpool away kit 2017/18, Liverpool FC’s new change strip for the upcoming Premier League season. Made by New Balance, the new LFC alternate shirt was officially unveiled on June 2, 2017, a little over a month after the Reds unveiled their 125th anniversary home strip.

Liverpool finished 4th in the Premier League in 2016/17, thus securing a return to the Champions League after a tightly contested league season.

New Celtic Strip 17-18- Glasgow Celtic unveil new kit celebrating 50th anniversary of famous Lisbon Lions victory

This is the new Celtic strip 2017/18, Scottish champions Glasgow Celtic’s new home kit for the upcoming SPL season. Made by New Balance, the new Celtic top was officially unveiled on May 4, 2017, exactly a week after NB released Liverpool’s 2017/18 125th anniversary home kit.

The kit celebrates the 50th anniversary of Celtic’s famous European Cup win, where Jock Stein’s Lisbon Lions got the better of Inter Milan in the Portuguese capital (they won 2-1 on 25 May, 1967). Goals from Tommy Gemmell and Stevie Chelmers saw Celtic become the first British team to lift the European Cup.

New Balance have introduced a special commemorative gold crest for the 17/18 season and inside the neck is a band that combines the famous green and white of Celtic and the blue and black colours of Inter. Continue reading

New Liverpool Kit 17-18- LFC 125th Anniversary Home Jersey 2017-2018

This is the new Liverpool kit 2017/18, Liverpool FC’s new home strip for the 17/18 league season. The Reds are the first Premier League side to officially unveil their new 2017/18 top, with manufacturers New Balance releasing the uniform today (April 27, 2017). NB will also reveal Celtic’s new strip (inspired by the Lisbon Lions) next Thursday.

The shirt features a commemorative crest celebrating the club’s 125th anniversary (1892-2017) and takes inspiration from earlier kits, notably from the Shankly era. Continue reading
