New Liverpool Kit 17-18- LFC 125th Anniversary Home Jersey 2017-2018

This is the new Liverpool kit 2017/18, Liverpool FC’s new home strip for the 17/18 league season. The Reds are the first Premier League side to officially unveil their new 2017/18 top, with manufacturers New Balance releasing the uniform today (April 27, 2017). NB will also reveal Celtic’s new strip (inspired by the Lisbon Lions) next Thursday.

The shirt features a commemorative crest celebrating the club’s 125th anniversary (1892-2017) and takes inspiration from earlier kits, notably from the Shankly era. The v-neck jersey has been given a richer, darker red and features tonal pinstripes. The goalkeeper’s uniform will be green, as can be seen in the pics below.

Financial major Standard Chartered remain sponsors. The kit will officially go on sale on May 19 (will be worn at final game of the season v Boro May 21) and is here seen modelled by captain Jordan Henderson and his teammates.

Looks amazing. It looks like a proper retro Liverpool kit. Also nice to see white back rather than yellow. Just wish they would use the modern badge though.

As chavvy as the New Balance brand (and LFC :D) are, this is actually a smart little kit. The Umbro strips of the late 70s/early 80s are design classics and this takes all the best elements from them 🙂
