This is the new West Ham home kit 2020/21, WHUFC’s new home strip for the upcoming league season. Made by Umbro, the new WHUFC shirt was officially unveiled on June 29, 2020- the 125th anniversary of the club’s founding (29 June, 1895).
The kit takes inspiration from the 1960’s- one of the most successful periods in the club’s history, featuring FA and European Cup Winners Cup triumphs, and a key role played by Hammers players in England’s 1996 World Cup win.
The claret and blue shirt will be paired with white shorts and socks. Underneath the badge, we have the words “125 years” written, showing the club’s journey from 1895 to the present. Another similar tribute can be seen on the reverse of the jersey. Goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski, one of the club’s most consistent performers in what has otherwise been a disappointing Premier League campaign, will be wearing an all green kit under the sticks in 20/21.
Looks a LOT like their 2015/16 shirt.
