This is the new Deportivo La Coruna kit 2020/21, SuperDepor’s new home shirt for the upcoming Spanish league season. Made by Macron, the new Deportivo jersey was officially unveiled late in the evening on June 27, 2020 and celebrates the 25th anniversary of the club’s first major title- the 1995 Copa del Rey win against Valencia at the Bernabeu. Depor won that clash 2-1 on June 27, 1995- it was originally held on June 24 but was suspended due to adverse weather conditions, with play resuming three days later.
One can see Pel’95 on the reverse, with Espirito’95 inside the collar. Under the badge is an indicator of the 1995 triumph- (25 Aniversario Campions Copa do Rei 1995), while inside the shirt is another marker- “Campions 1995 RCDeportivo A Coruna 1906”, as can be seen in the pics below.
Estrella Galicia remain principal jersey sponsors, with Luckia appearing on the sleeve.
Deportivo currently play in the Segunda Division, having been relegated from La Liga at the end of the 2017/18 season.
Nice shirt. Macron are doing some nice shirts.
