NIFL Premiership club Crusaders FC have today (June 26, 2020) officially announced a two year contract with Hummel that will see the Danish firm take over from Kappa as the club’s kit partners. The deal is for a period of two seasons and will cover the 2020/21 and 2021/22 Danske Bank Premiership seasons.
Kappa originally came on board in 2015 as Crusaders’ kit partners, replacing fellow Italian company Macron. The club won two league titles during their stint with Kappa- 2015/16 and 2017/18. They played Wolves in the Europa League in the current 19/20 season after doing a Cup double in 18/19.
Several UK based clubs have inked deals with Hummel beginning the 20/21 season- Everton are of course the most high profile one, but the Danish company have also brought on board the likes of Northampton Town, Newport County, Kilmarnock and Ayr United, to name a few.
