Jersey Ajax Away 2020 2021

New Ajax Away Kit 2020-21 | Adidas unveil blue alternate jersey for Amsterdam outfit

This is the new Ajax away kit 20/21, the new alternate uniform for the upcoming Eredivisie season for Dutch giants Ajax Amsterdam. Made by Adidas, the new Ajax alternate jersey was officially unveiled on 11 June, 2020. The team were first in the Dutch top flight before the league was curtailed due to Covid-19.

The jersey is predominantly blue, with modern interpretations of several graphic designs that were popular in the 1980’s and 90’s present on it. The three colours of the Dutch flag (red, white and blue) can be subtly seen across the entire kit. The striped graphic design extends to the back, which also has the 3 Andreas crosses in white.

The Ziggo (shirt sponsor) and Adidas logos are in white, while the player numbers will be in red. Predominantly blue shorts and socks (with a hint of white) complete the new Ajax away kit for 2020-2021, as can be seen in the pics below. Continue reading

New Bayern Munich Home Kit 2020-21 | FCB to wear new Adidas jersey vs Eintracht in Pokal SF

This is the new Bayern Munich home kit 20/21, German giants FC Bayern’s new primary uniform for the upcoming Bundesliga season. Made by Adidas, the new FCB jersey was officially unveiled on 10 June, 2020 and will make its debut tonight in the Bavarian giants’ DFB Pokal semi-final against Eintracht Frankfurt.

The shirt is pretty much on expected lines- predominantly red with white trim on the neck and the cuffs and subtle stripe detailing built into the jersey. The famed Adidas stripes are on the sides for the outfield players’ jersey, but are on the sleeves for Manuel Neuer’s goalkeeper shirt. Who has the biggest kit deal in Serie A in 19/20?

Not surprisingly, it is Juventus, whose kit contract with Adidas is worth a whopping €51m (51 million euros) per season. Juve’s deal with Adidas is more than three times bigger than their nearest competitors- AC Milan, whose deal with Puma is worth €15m a year. Juve are also the only top flight club in Italy with an Adidas deal- no other Serie A outfit wears the three stripes.

Which is the club with the longest existing kit deal in Serie A (for 2019/20)

The club with the longest existing shirt partner is Inter, whose deal with Nike goes back to 1998. There are rumours that the Nerrazzurri will change partners in the near future, but their current contract with Nike (till 2024) is worth €10m a season. Continue reading
