Olympique Lyon Jersey 10-11 Home

This is the new Olympique Lyonnais home jersey for the 10/11 Ligue 1 season. Lyon will be aiming to pick up another domestic title this season after losing out to rivals Olympique de Marseille in the 09/10 season.

This new Lyon shirt has been made by Adidas. The OL logo can be seen on the left. Lyon are sponsored by Betclic, who also have sponsorship deals with Marseille and Juventus, amongst other clubs.

Ajax Home Shirt 10-11 Adidas

This is the new home shirt of Dutch giants Ajax Amsterdam for the 10/11 Eredivisie season. The new Ajax strip, made by sports giants Adidas, uses the club’s traditional white and red colours.

The three Adidas stripes are present in red moving down the collar. The front of the shirt features the logo of Adidas, the Ajax club crest and the logo of sponsors Aegon. The shirt is accompanied by white shorts.

On the back of the shirt, the words ‘Heldhaftig, Vastberaden en Barmhartig’ are present below the collar. Continue reading →

France 09/11 Last Home Adidas Shirt

This is the France 09/11 Football Shirt that was worn by the team during its unsuccessful World Cup campaign. This is also the French national team’s last home Adidas shirt. France will be outfitted by Nike from 2011 onwards. The new French Kit deal with Nike is worth 320 million euros over seven years ( the most expensive shirt deal ever)

This blue French home strip was worn by Les Bleus in their Group A games against Mexico and South Africa at the 2010 World Cup. Unfortunately for France, they ended up losing both home fixtures.

The shirt uses three colours- blue, white and red, which are also the colours of the French flag. Continue reading →
