Borussia Dortmund debut new neon yellow Cup kit in Champions League against Besiktas

This is the new Dortmund Cup jersey 2021/22, a special strip made for German club Borussia Dortmund to be used in their Cup and Champions League games. Made by Puma, the new BVB UCL shirt was officially unveiled on 15 September, 2021 and made its on-field debut the same evening in their group stage clash away at Besiktas, a fixture that Dortmund won 2-1.

The neon yellow jersey has “BVB 09” written prominently on the front as well as in a more subtle design print across the shirt. Continue reading

New Leipzig 3rd Jersey 2021 22

New Leipzig Third Jersey 2021-2022 | RBL Veganz Sleeve Sponsor Champions League Nike 21-22

This is the new RB Leipzig third kit 2021/22, RBL’s new alternate strip for games during the current 21/22 Bundesliga and UEFA Champions League seasons. Made by Nike, the new Leipzig third jersey was officially unveiled on September 13, 2021. Along with the kit unveiling, Leipzig also announced a new sleeve shirt sponsor in the form of the Veganz Group for UCL and DFB Pokal games.

Leipzig are in the Group of Death for the 2021/2022 Champions League alongside Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain and Club Brugge. Paris also unveiled their new third shirt with two swooshes on the same day.

The new third kit is a tribute to the city’s sport, music and culture scene- a nod to the colourful, diverse and creative nature of Leipzig in the words of Nike. The Leipzig Champions League jersey also contains elements from Distillery, IFZ and Elipamanoke- all famous night clubs in the city, and uses the tagline “You Can do Anything” Continue reading

Barca Third Shirt New Closeup

New Barca UCL Jersey 2021-2022 | Barcelona Third Champions League Kit 21-22

This is the new Barca Champions League Jersey 2021/22, a new third kit for Spanish giants Barca that will be only worn in European competition by the Blaugrana. Made by Nike, the new Barca CL shirt was officially unveiled on 9 September, 2021.

The design of the shirt is inspired by drawings of the city of Barcelona made by the club’s supporters. Reflected in the design are the districts Poble-sec, Poblenou, Gracia, Raval and Les Corts as well as the Les Tres Xemeneies.

The new Barca kit will make its debut when they take on Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich later this month. They also have Benfica and Dinamo Kyiv in their group.

Interestingly, the third kit’s colours mirror that of the new Barca home shirt for 2021/22. Continue reading
