The last week of Premier League action before the international break, and there were goals galore in this one. Only seven games were played owing to some of the teams being in FA Cup action, and we had a total of 29 goals in those fixtures, averaging more than four per game. Continue reading

Kit choice- West Ham wear white third kit vs Manchester United (2022/23 season)
It very much did feel like a kit clash, but wasn’t one (well at least not officially!). West Ham United wore their third shirt against Manchester United at Old Trafford. They went down 1-0, but with their shirts and United’s shorts both being white, it did give the impression of being a kit clash. Could a better kit combination not have been found for the Hammers?
Arsenal wearing special white shorts with away shirt against PSV in 2022-23 Europa League
Somewhat interesting, Arsenal wore special, one-off white shorts for their Europa League clash against PSV away in Eindhoven last night. The Gunners wore their black away shirt but paired it off with these white shorts to avoid a kit clash. There was talk about them initially wearing white shorts with red trim, then talk about a special full kit for the occasion, but this was the route eventually chosen by the Gunners.
Arsenal however lost the game 2-0 to PSV, meaning that they will have to wait for MD6 to confirm progress as group winners.
