This is the new DC United jersey 2016, DC United’s new principal strip for the upcoming MLS season. Made by Adidas, the new strip was officially revealed on February 6, 2016.

This is the first new jersey from D.C with the new crest following the club’s decision to opt for a branding change late last year. The eagle from the previous logo remains, but there is a change of direction, with its head now turned right instead of left. However the soccer ball and the golden star have disappeared, making way for the stars from the District of Columbia flag.

The predominantly black shirt has the traditional Adidas stripes in red, but at the sides instead of the shoulders. The back of the neck features silhouettes of U.S. Capitol, Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial and Jefferson Monument, all important buildings in DC’s history. Continue reading →

This is the new LA Galaxy home jersey 2016, Los Angeles’ Galaxy’s new principal uniform for the 2016 Major League Soccer season. Made by Adidas, the new LA Galaxy home kit was officially revealed on February 4, 2016 and will be worn by the likes of Ashley Cole (former Arsenal and Chelsea), Steven Gerrard (ex Liverpool), Nigel de Jong (ex Manchester City and AC Milan), Giovani dos Santos (ex Barcelona and Tottenham) this season.

The shirt retains the sash design from previous seasons, but this year, they consist of two bars in the club’s traditional colours. Another unique feature is the single golden star (the only MLS team to have one), incorporated to celebrate Galaxy’s 5 MLS Cup Championship triumphs. Continue reading →
