This is the new Everton away kit 2022/23, Everton’s new alternate strip for the upcoming Premier League season. Made by Hummel, the new EFC change top was officially unveiled on July 19, 2022.
The shirt is a pink and blue creation from Hummel and features a graphic pattern that pays tribute to the roof tower on the club crest, as can be seen below. The graphic however doesn’t extend to the back of the shirt, which remains plain.
The jersey will be worn for the first time when Everton take on Minnesota United in a club friendly.
Probably one of the worst jersey designs and colour, failed acknowledgement to historic past. The second kit colour should be Amber/ gold jersey with dark blue shorts and amber/gold socks. This reinforces history of most successful second kit and has strong links to B,K & H
“The Holy Trinity” . Club brand must be consistent and the Amber/gold kit reinforces that.
The club should honour the 3 greats by dedicating the second kit as Amber/gold to their contribution to the club.
WELL !
I am a lifelong Everton fan, i’ve seen kits/colours come and go but honestly, what on earth are they thinking of ?
This is absolutely hideous!
Historically, there is a link to the pink because when the club moved to Goodison Park in 1892, the colours were salmon pink and dark blue striped shirts with dark blue shorts.
This was revived in 1992 (ish) to a mixed reception but gradually, pink has been accepted on and off.
i imagine this kit will win the award for the least number of shirts sold an also the fastest one to go on half price sale !
I am mortified !
One of the worst kits I’ve ever seen. It’s hideous.
