Shirt Number- Erling Haaland takes the No.9 jersey at Man City vacated by Gabriel Jesus

New signing Erling Haaland will wear the No.9 shirt at Manchester City during the 2022/23 season, the club have officially announced. The jersey was previously donned by Brazilian forward Gabriel Jesus, who was sold to Arsenal (and will wear 9 at the Emirates too), and his exit has paved the way for City’s new Norwegian signing to take the jersey.

Haaland also wore No.9 last season at Borussia Dortmund and has the same number at the Norwegian national team currently.
