This is the new Real Madrid Y3 jersey 2022, a special, limited edition shirt created for the Spanish giants by Japanese designer Yohji Yamamoto. This special black Real Madrid kit celebrates the 120th anniversary of the club as well as 20 years of the designer’s Y-3 brand. He is not an unfamiliar name to fans of the club, having also designed their third strip a few seasons ago- the dragon Champions League shirt in 2014.
This Real Madrid black shirt will be worn by Carlo Ancelotti’s men when they square off against arch rivals Barcelona in the El Clasico this weekend.
Yamamoto’s Y3 collection also sees the release of a pink goalkeeper top for Real. The Adidas logo on the front makes way for the Y-3 one- the famed three stripes continue to be present on the shoulders.
