Watford have announced that they will be wearing their new 2021/22 third kit for the first time in the league this season when they square off against Leeds United at Elland Road today afternoon. LUFC had themselves debuted their purple third strip against Newcastle in GW5, while Liverpool gave their yellow third kit its on-field debut last weekend against Brentford, and this time around, it’s the turn of Xisco’s men to sport a new uniform.
Watford, interestingly, are also the only team who will be wearing their third shirt this weekend in the Prem. The likes of Arsenal, Brentford and Leicester will be donning their away kit in GW7, with the remainder of the clashes set to be all home-kit affairs.
The Hornets are 12th in the league currently with 7 points from 6 games while Leeds are third from bottom going into this weekend’s round of fixtures.
