There’s been a fair bit of change on the kit sponsor front for Italian giants Inter Milan in the 21/22 Serie A season, with long standing front of the shirt sponsor Pirelli making way for Socios. The Nerazurri also have two other kit sponsors for the 2021/22 campaign- DigitalBits (parent company Zytara Labs) will be the sleeve sponsors, while Lenovo will appear on the back of the jersey.
How much is the Inter DigitalBits sleeve sponsorship deal worth?
Inter’s total contract with DigitalBits is worth 85 milion euros ($100m) over four years, but only 6m euros per year will go towards the sleeve sponsorship. The remaining 15.25m euros per season is a media partnership in various forms with blockchain company Zytara Labs (the parent firm of Digital Bits)
Interestingly, Digital Bits are also primary shirt sponsors for AS Roma.
How much do Inter make from shirt sponsorship in the current 21/22 season?
Inter will make approximately 33 million euros from jersey sponsorship in this 2021/22 season- roughly 21m euros from Socios (the Inter fantoken logo on the front) and 6m each from Digital Bits and Lenovo (figures courtesy Italian paper GDS)
