New SWFC Kit 2017 2018

New SWFC Kits 2017-18 | Sheffield Wednesday Elev8 150th Anniversary Home & Away Shirts

These are the new Sheffield Wednesday shirts 2017/18, SWFC’s new home and away kits for the upcoming EFL Championship season. Made by new kit partners Elev8 and officially unveiled on August 2, 2017, the new Wednesday jerseys will also serve as the club’s 150th anniversary uniforms.

Both shirts are a nod to the club’s past- the home shirt, featuring a blue body with a three button placket and white sleeves and shorts, is a throwback to their uniforms in the late 60’s.

SWFC will wear a yellow away top on the road in 2017/18, with black pinstripes and shorts.

The home socks will be white with blue hoops, while the alternate one will be black with yellow hoops.

Wednesday will also unveil their third kit on September 3.

    Is this an Ipswich kit?

At least no one will have to change shirts for Sheffield derbies this season.

Elev8 aren’t a sportswear company. In fact I’m not sure what they are, all the results on google have completely different logos. Maybe a new business started by Chansiri?

I think Wednesday have been sneaky here. Their third kit is made in-house, and I reckon these are too but they’ve registered them as being made by Elev8 so they can get two sponsor logos on the front of their shirt.

Home kit looks ok but as for the away kit it just looks like something Hull City rejected and a source at the club tells me they cost $4 to make so why are they selling them at £55 for an adult shirt ??? They are out pricing them selves and making even it harder for the ordinary working supporters to buy them then add the rest of the family it becomes a very dear do.
I love my club but please Mr Chansiri think about the fans and supporters for a change if we do go up you will get your money back and more besides.

This kit represents 5% of the club’s entire history. Sheffield Wednesday are known for equal width blue and white stripes, married with black shorts. Come on you Tractor Boys err Owls!
