These are the new Huddersfield Town alternate kits 2017/18, HTAFC’s new away and third tops for their maiden season in the Premier League. The uniforms have been made by Puma, but Town have not officially designated them as “away” and “third” kits respectively, instead preferring to just call them “alternate” jerseys.
The red kit is a throwback to Town’s electric hoops ‘flash’ shirt, worn by Ian Ross’ side in the early 90’s, and hugely popular with the club’s supporters. It was unveiled on the eve of their friendly against Bury- chosen specifically because the Terriers played out a famous 4-4 draw against the Shakers back in 1991 (they came from 4-0 down in the fixture at Gigg Lane)
