This is the new Barnsley shirt 17/18, Barnsley FC’s new principal strip for the upcoming Championship season. Made by Puma, the new home kit was officially unveiled by the club on June 12, 2017.
The home shirt is predominantly red, as you’d expect with Barnsley, and features a buttoned collar and white panels underneath the sleeves and down the sides. White shorts and red socks complete the look of the new Barnsley strip, which will again be sponsored by C.K. Beckett
Barnsley finished fourteenth in the 2016/17 season, picking up 58 points from 46 games. They however had the fourth worst defensive record in the Championship- only bottom of the table Rotherham, fourth from bottom Forest and Norwich conceded more goals in the league season.
