This is the new Liverpool away kit 2016/17, LFC’s new change strip for the upcoming Premier League season. Made by New Balance, the new LFC away top was officially unveiled on 16 June, 2016, a little over a month after the Reds revealed their home strip for 2016/17.
The black, red and silver colours of the kit are a tribute to the club’s famous 1977 Champions Cup win in Rome (the colours of the matchday programme for that fixture against Borussia Monchengladbach) . The base is black, with red running down the sides, and silver trim incorporated on the front.
Bill Shankly’s famous words “Liverpool was made for me and I was made for Liverpool” can be seen inside the hem of the shirt.
The goalkeeper jersey uses the “impulse orange” design that has also been incorporated into Iker Casillas’ new top for Porto.

The black away shirt is extremely smart, I like everything about it!
Nice kit, very smart. But that is the most bullsh*t ‘inspiration’ I’ve heard since Chelsea said the red on their kit was for the Chelsea pensioners.
ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz…………………………
Love it as a fan, however a bit too much similar to last seasons 3rd kit.
Something new please New Balance!!!
boring… the stripes doesn’t work, and the collar is so ugly
hmm, seems like Liverpool’s kit are red, yellow and black every season. Nice kit, though
..its black.
Like last seasons black 3rd kit with slight changes.
Infact shorts look same. Plain like last seasons.
Pointless. Like the team.
