This is the new Cambridge United kit 16/17, Cambridge’s new home strip for the upcoming League Two season. Made by Puma, the new CUFC kit was officially released on June 2, 2016 with new signing Piero Mingoia present at the unveiling.
The kit appears to use a Puma design that has also been employed by the likes of Fleetwood Town and Rotherham United. The shirt features the club’s traditional amber and black colours and also features thin pinstripes and a collar.
Mick George remain principal front of the shirt sponsors, with Sepura appearing on the back.
The U’s finished 9th in the 2015/16 League two season with 68 points, seven adrift of the playoffs.
That isn’t a patch on this season’s kit, which was one of the best. Looks just like Wolves.
Like this, very smart.
@RobertoMurphino
Do you know why it looks like a Wolves kit?
Because they both play in the same colours!
This is a much better kit than last year’s offering, very smart.
I really hope there’s a Cambridge fan out there called Mick George 🙂
I agree about the Wolves thing, though – looks like an old kit from the Steve Bull days to me.
Love it. League One is already quaking. The Us are coming
I really like that colour and they have managed not to screw up the kit. Good job !
Beautiful kit.

Clearly you haven’t seen this then:

Same colour, same design, same everything bar badge and sponsor. Completely interchangeable.
Well, the colour’s slightly different, and there’s a collar on this that there isn’t on the Wolves one. So similar but not identical
