These are the new Ipswich kits 2016/17, Ipswich’s new home and away uniforms for the upcoming Football League Championship season. Made by Adidas, the new ITFC strips were officially unveiled on May 6, 2016.
At the time of writing this article, Ipswich are 8th in the Championship, and have narrowly missed out on the playoffs. The Tractor Boys will have a chevron design for the home shirt (with white sleeves). In a change that may not go down well with some supporters, blue shorts and socks complete the look of the new ITFC home shirt for 2016/17.
ITFC’s new alternate shirt is a simpler one, and employs a more common Adidas template. The predominantly white shirt will be paired with white shorts and socks.
Marcus Evans remain sponsors of both ITFC jerseys for 2016/17, as can be seen in the pics below.
Get the 3 stars off your shirt
nice top 8/10
Oh my word that’s atrocious
One of the best Ipswich shirts I’ve seen. Like the away one too.
@Forest fan Nick
why? we won three massive cups, we are proud of our history
One is fine
Forest fan Nick. We celebrate our history just as much as your club, so if we want to put 3 stars on our shirt to remember our achievements then so be it!
At least we don’t ‘participate like them in naaarfolk’
You’re not famous anymore (neither are we or were we famous btw)
I actually like the chevron design of this shirt. Not a big fan of the V neck though, the collar is usually a safer bet.
Very imaginative , I quite like the whole concept and presumably the shorts and socks will be “interchangeable” so that they can be worn with either shirt if required, ie if drawn against chelsea in the cup white shirts/white shorts and blue away socks etc ??
By the way, wear your stars with pride !!!
god the sponsor completely ruined the home kit
