These are the new Stoke City kits 2016/17, Stoke’s new home and away tops for the upcoming Premiership season. The kits are the first to be made for the Potters by new partners Macron as part of their five year deal to replace New Balance, and were officially unveiled on May 6, 2016. This is the fourth new PL kit for 2016/17, following releases from Sunderland, Chelsea and Leicester.
The new Stoke home kit for 2016/17 employs a classic red and white striped design and will be worn when the Potters take on West Ham at the Britannia Stadium in their final game of the season (May 15).
For enhanced squad number visibility, the home shirt has a white panel on the back.
The blue away shirt takes inspiration from the uniforms worn by the club in the 1970’s, and features an an embossed S which was present in the first ever Stoke kit (in 1882).
Bet365 are sponsors of both Stoke home and away kits for 2016-2017, as can be seen in the pics below.
It’s hard to make a red and white striped kit look amazing, but Stoke’s kit, while not brilliant, have almost always looked the part. Solid first try from Macron
Agree about how hard it is making a red and white kit look amazing. But this is a good try. Like the away kit too.
Gorgeous kits, Macron have proved me wrong
Neat. Well done Macron.
At first sight I thought the away kit was a Man City kit! 😛
