This is the new Derry City away jersey 2016, League of Ireland outfit Derry City FC’s new alternate kit for the 2016 season. Made by Hummel, the new Derry City secondary shirt was officially revealed on February 20, 2016, two months after the club unveiled its 2016 home shirt. It is also the first away kit for the club from the Hummel stable.
The club chose a unique way to celebrate the kit launch by having a treasure hunt for supporters, with the winner also getting to win the shirt at the Millennium Forum which played host to the event
Umbro last season gave Derry a predominantly yellow change top with a single diagonal black and grey stripe going down from the left shoulder.
Hummel have given Derry a cyan alternate strip (it’s being officially called the “Marine & Atlantis jersey”), with Diamond Corrugated again remaining principal sponsors, as can be seen in the pic below. GMK Gas & Oil will appear on the back, with City Cabs on the sleeves.
