This is the new Derry City home kit 2016, League of Ireland club Derry City FC’s new principal strip for the upcoming league season. The new kit was officially unveiled at the City Hotel today (December 15, 2016) morning. Like fellow league outfit Dundalk, who have switched from Umbro to CX Sport, Derry have also chosen to part ways with the Double Diamond and instead go with Danish manufacturer Hummel.
The new shirt features Derry City’s famous red and white “candy” stripes, and features a crew neck collar with contrast mesh. Diamond Corrugated continue their sponsorship, with their logo appearing on the front of the jersey. City Cabs appear on the sleeves, while GMK Gas and Oil will be back of the shirt sponsor
Derry finished 7th in the Airticity League last season, with 35 points to show for their efforts from 33 games.
