This is the new San Jose Earthquakes away shirt 2016, San Jose’s new alternate strip for the upcoming MLS season. The club have also brought on board a new principal sponsor in the form of Sutter Health, with the Sacramento based company inking a multi year deal to appear on the front of both home and away jerseys.
The exact value of the contract was not revealed but Quakes president David Kaval did mention that it was in the upper echelon (top 5) of MLS shirt sponsorship deals. That is some coup for the club, who have been without a principal jersey sponsor for the last four seasons following the end of their last deal with Amway Global back in 2011
The white and red jersey features a new design on the solitary thick vertical stripe. Inside the collar are the words “Unity, Heritage and Devotion” with the Quakes wordmark appearing on the outside.
Another neat little feature is the jock tag on the lower front (SJ 74), indicating the year of founding of the club
As with all MLS clubs, the shirts come in both authentic and replica versions, with the former having more features than the latter.
This new Earthquakes alternate MLS strip will first see action in their clash against LA Galaxy in March.

Like it, has a Championship feel to it, like something Boro would wear.
I like this jersey a hell of a lot 10 out of 10.
Tasteful.
Love it.
