This is the new Huddersfield Town third kit 2015/16, Town’s new second alternate strip for the 15/16 Championship season. Made by Puma, the new HTAFC third jersey was officially unveiled on September 24, 2015 and will make its debut next month in the club’s upcoming fixture against Wolves.
The predominantly white camouflage shirt, with hints of red, pays homage to fallen war heroes, including Town’s eight players who lost their lives in conflict (Larrett Roebuck, Sidney James, Leigh Richmond Roose (Rouse), Charles Edward Randall, Robert Henry Gordon, Tom Carter, Francis Cornelius Chivers and Alex Jackson)
Covonia appear on the front of Town’s new third kit for 2015/16, as can be seen in the pics below. The club have already unveiled their new home and away kits for 2015/2016, and the release of this third strip completes their list of uniform releases for the new season.
What’s the point? Really. Most of the home kit is white anyway, and the blue on it is far too light. I think Puma, generally, have dropped the ball this season
Doesn’t look great but at least it recognizes fallen war heroes
I’m sorry, if you want to make a tribute to players who died in the war, make a donation to the Poppy Foundation, or unveil a statue or something. Don’t bring out a pointless third shirt with a bit of camouflage pattern, slap a sponsor’s logo on and sell it for £45 a pop. Lame.
@JonLCFC
totally agree
I have to agree with Russel1311.
Baggy and not the best kit puma have ever done.
