This is the new Aberdeen away top 15/16, the change kit that Aberdeen FC will wear on their travels in the upcoming Scottish Premier League season. The Dons officially unveiled their new strip, made by Adidas, on 25th June, 2015. Their home kit was unveiled last month.
The new Aberdeen away shirt is predominantly white, with a black panel on the top part. The v-neck top has gold detailing, with a golden stripe at the end of the black panel and golden Adidas stripes on the shoulders. Saltire Energy are again sponsors, with their logo in gold too. The entire integration has been done quite well, especially the gold part, and the strip at first glance, was received well at the launch event.
Last season’s Aberdeen away kit was a granite (black) number from the Adidas stable, with gold trim and the famous stripes on the shoulders in white. This season’s strip contains a whole lot more of white, but retains the gold and black from the 14/15 uniform.
Greame Shinnie is here seen modelling the new Aberdeen FC away kit. He was joined by Peter Pawlett, Niall McGinn, Adam Rooney and club captain Ryan Jack at the official launch at Pittodrie.
