New Tunisia Kit 2020-21 | Kappa unveil home & away jerseys with Eagle design

These are the new Tunisia shirts 20/21, Tunisia’s new home and alternate jerseys for the upcoming international season. Made by Kappa, the new kits were officially unveiled on July 3, 2020 by the Carthage Eagles.

Tunisia’s new 2020/21 home shirt is white, while the away jersey will be primarily red in colour. Both tops use the same graphic design on the front- that of the bald eagle that is closely associated with the badge and the national team. The design however does not extend to the back, which remains plain.

Tunisia finished fourth in the 2019 Africa Cup of nations, losing in extra time in the semi-finals to Senegal and then going down 1-0 to Nigeria in the bronze medal playoff. Continue reading →

New Real Betis Special Kit 2020 vs Celta Vigo | Fan designed jersey to honour health workers

This is the new Real Betis special jersey 2020, a limited edition shirt designed by the club’s fans to honour health workers during the Coronavirus pandemic. The Kappa manufactured kit will be worn by the players when they take on Celta Vigo in La Liga tomorrow on the road. There have been other similar efforts in La Liga- for example, this special Leganes kit that was worn against Barca.

The special green jersey features a graphic design on the front with triangles (a nod to the Estadio Benito Vilamarin) and has the words “Heroes Beticos” on the front, as can be seen in the pics below. Continue reading →

Here is a look at the value of the shirt contracts Italian Serie A clubs have with their respective kit makers for the 2019/20 campaign. The figures below show the value of the deal in euros per season plus the year the association began and the end year of the kit contract.

Who has the biggest kit deal in Serie A in 19/20?

Not surprisingly, it is Juventus, whose kit contract with Adidas is worth a whopping €51m (51 million euros) per season. Juve’s deal with Adidas is more than three times bigger than their nearest competitors- AC Milan, whose deal with Puma is worth €15m a year. Juve are also the only top flight club in Italy with an Adidas deal- no other Serie A outfit wears the three stripes.

Which is the club with the longest existing kit deal in Serie A (for 2019/20)

The club with the longest existing shirt partner is Inter, whose deal with Nike goes back to 1998. There are rumours that the Nerrazzurri will change partners in the near future, but their current contract with Nike (till 2024) is worth €10m a season. Continue reading →
