This is the new Houston Dynamo away kit 2016, the new secondary strip for MLS outfit Houston Dynamo. Made by Adidas,the new kit was officially unveiled on February 17, 2016 in a mural made by local artist GONZO247.

Traditional Dynamo alternate kits have been white, but this season, the club have opted for a change by adopting a black secondary strip. The jersey features three different shades of orange in an inverted chevron design on the chest. The collar and cuffs both have blue trim.

Inside the back of the neck are the words “Forever Orange”, with the back having the Dynamo wordmark. On the lower front of the jersey is the flag of Texas (the state in which Houston are based)

This is the new NYRB away shirt 2016, New York Red Bulls’ new alternate strip for the 2016 MLS season. NYRB won the Supporters’ Shield in 2015, finishing as the team with the best league record across both Conferences, but lost the Eastern Conference MLS Cup playoff final to Columbus Crew.

The new NYRB secondary jersey is predominantly blue with yellow sleeves. The Adidas stripes, moved to the side, instead of their usual place down the shoulders, are also yellow.

The Red Bulls have paid homage to their original form (they were the MetroStars till Red Bull took over the club). Red & black (the original Metrostars colours), can be found inside the back of the neck, where the words “Love.Fight.Passion.Glory” are written. This the new Columbus Crew away kit 2016, a new alternate strip for MLS outfit Columbus Crew SC. Themed as the “For Columbus” jersey, the uniform, made by Adidas hasn’t been too well received by the club’s fans on social media.

The shirt uses the Columbus city flag as its inspiration, and you can see many aspects that are influenced by it. For starters, the base colour is white, with blue and red trim on the cuffs and neck. The Adidas stripes are in red on the sides. Inside the jersey, under the team badge is the City of Columbus Seal (the city therefore, is at the “heart” of this kit”)

Crew have Federico Higuain, the brother of former Real Madrid and current Napoli striker (and often linked with Arsenal!) Gonzalo Higuain, in their ranks.

There are seventeen stars inside the necktape, same as the one present on the Columbus seal, and they also symbolise Ohio becoming the 17th state of the American union.
