Croatia Soccer Jersey 2010-11 Home Nike

This is the new Croatian home soccer jersey that will be worn by the Croatian national side during their Euro 2012 qualifying campaign ( in the 10/11 season). Croatia have star players like Luka Modric, Eduardo, Darijo Srna and Niko Kranjcar in their ranks and were unlucky not to qualify for the 2010 World Cup.

This Croatian home jersey has been made by Nike. The red and white squares that you can see on the front of the jersey are inspired from the coat of arms on Croatia’s national flag. The Nike swoosh is in blue and the Croatian football federation’s crest is on the left on the shirt. The Croatian flag can also be seen on the inside of the jersey.

Nike has used their Dri-Fit technology in this Croatia strip. The back of the jersey also contains the same designs as the front side. The name Hrvatska ( the word for Croatia in Croatian is written on the back of the collar) Continue reading →

Umbro New York Cosmos Home Jersey

English sportswear giant Umbro has revealed the new New York Cosmos home jersey. The Cosmos, popular during the 1970’s and 80’s for signing several top players, will be outfitted by Umbro.

Umbro have gone for a retro look for the New York Cosmos, who do not currently compete in the MLS, but hope to be fielding a team soon. The new NY Cosmos home shirt will be available to buy at major websites in the month of December 2010. Other Cosmos apparel, including walkout jackets, will be available for purchase in February 2011.

The Cosmos home jersey is primarily white in colour with green trim. The collar contains both green and yellow. The Umbro logo in green can be seen on the left while the Cosmos logo is present on the right. Continue reading →
