Barcelona are expected to be in their yellow Senyera jersey when they take on Napoli in the second leg of their Europa League playoff knockout tie tonight.
The Senyera shirt was also worn by Barcelona in their disappointing 3-0 away losses against Bayern Munich and Benfica earlier in this season’s Champions League, with the Catalan giants eliminated from Europe’s premier club competition in the process. Continue reading

This is the new Atletico Madrid fourth kit 2021/22, a special edition uniform released by Spanish giants Atleti to celebrate 75 years of their current name- the club became Atletico de Madrid in 1947. This special limited edition red kit was officially unveiled in January 2022 and will be worn by Los Colchoneros in their upcoming Spanish Copa del Rey clash against Real Sociedad.
The red jersey otherwise appears to be plain in design, but Atleti will be selling these in a commemorative box that also includes the minutes of that name change from back in 1947.
Barcelona have announced that they will be wearing a special shirt against Elche supporting TV3’s La Marato’s program. The long running program’s focus area this year is mental health, and Barca supporting the initiative is their little contribution towards raising awareness for the campaign.
La Marato has been operational since 1992- this is their 30th year on TV3 (a Catalan television channel)
At the time of writing, Barca are 8th in La Liga, while Elche are in 16th, with nine points separating the two sides in the league standings. Continue reading
