Umbro New York Cosmos Home Jersey

English sportswear giant Umbro has revealed the new New York Cosmos home jersey. The Cosmos, popular during the 1970’s and 80’s for signing several top players, will be outfitted by Umbro.

Umbro have gone for a retro look for the New York Cosmos, who do not currently compete in the MLS, but hope to be fielding a team soon. The new NY Cosmos home shirt will be available to buy at major websites in the month of December 2010. Other Cosmos apparel, including walkout jackets, will be available for purchase in February 2011.

The Cosmos home jersey is primarily white in colour with green trim. The collar contains both green and yellow. The Umbro logo in green can be seen on the left while the Cosmos logo is present on the right. Continue reading →

MLS 2010 All Star Soccer Jersey

This is the MLS All Star 2010 Soccer Jersey that has been designed for the All Star team by sportswear giant Adidas. The All Star team will face English giants Manchester United on July 28, 2010 at the Reliant Stadium in Houston, Tx.

This All Star game will be the first to be played in Texas and is the seventh time that the All Star team is facing foreign opposition.

Stars like Landon Donovan, Guillermo Barros Schelotto, Jaime Moreno and co. are expected to play for the MLS in this game.

The All Star Jersey is primarily light blue in colour, with the Adidas stripes in orange. One can see the AT&T logo on the jersey. Continue reading →
