New Central Coast Mariners Surf Life Saving Jersey v Newcastle Jets February 28 2016

Australian A-League side Central Coast Mariners have unveiled a special limited edition “Surf Life saving” jersey that they will wear in their F3 derby against Newcastle Jets on 28 February, 2016.

Made by Italian firm Kappa, the kit is a tribute to Surf Life Saving Central Coast, and 10% from the sale of every shirt will be donated to them. CCM currently have former Liverpool and Barcelona forward Luis Garcia in their ranks.

The Mariners’ opponents for this weekend’s clash, the Jets, had also revealed a special “Airforce” jersey for their clash against the Roar. Continue reading

New Melbourne Victory Champions Jersey 2015- MVFC Special Kit v Sydney FC Australia Day

Melbourne A-League champions Melbourne Victory have today (December 8, 2015) unveiled a special one-off “Champions” jersey that they will wear against Sydney FC at AAMI Park on Australia Day. The fixture marks MVFC’s first home game against Sydney FC since the 2015 Grand Final, which the former won 3-0.

The bold navy shirt features the same AAMI Park graphic that is also currently seen on Victory’s 15/16 away shirt. The Hyundai A-League Champions logo is in gold, with the lettering and numbering at the back also set to be in the same colour.

Another special feature is the silver star with the number 3 above the club logo, which represents Victory’s three A-League titles won so far. Continue reading

Newcastle Jets RAAF Jersey 2015- New Jets Airforce Kit vs Brisbane Roar

Hyundai A-League outfit Newcastle Jets have today (November 18, 2015) unveiled a special RAAF jersey that they will wear when they take on Brisbane Roar at the Hunter Stadium on November 28.

The jersey, made by partners BLK, attempts to strengthen ties between the Jets and the RAAF (Royal Australian Air Force) with the match between the Jets and the Roar named the “RAAF Base Williamtown round” round. The military base is around 15 km north of Newcastle, NSW, where the Jets are based. Continue reading
