West Bromwich Albion have unveiled a special white strip paying homage to their legendary forward Jeff Astle. The white kit (white shirt, shorts and red socks), a replica of their 1968 FA Cup final uniform, will be worn against Leicester City in their Premier League game next month.
Astle was at the peak of his powers in the late 1960’s, and scored the winning goal when Albion beat Everton at Wembley in the FA Cup in 1968. Continue reading
