This is the new Watford away kit 2014/2015, Watford FC’s new change strip for the forthcoming season. The Hornets had already unveiled their 2014/15 season home kit a month ago, and the away kit, made by Puma, was officially unveiled on June 6, 2014.
The black and white strip is a tribute to the 12 Watford FC players who went to war in WWI. 2014 is the 100th anniversary of the Great War (1914-1918). It is also a century since Watford wore a black and white shirt for the first time.
The Hornets will donate £1 from the sale of each away kit to the Royal British Legion.
The club have also confirmed that they will be wearing this new away kit for the home fixture which falls nearest to Remembrance Sunday (in November) Continue reading
