This special Alisson goalkeeper shirt vs Barca saw Liverpool’s No.1 don a one-off alloy kit made by uniform partners New Balance for the second leg of their Champions League semi-final against Barcelona at Anfield last night.

With UEFA deeming that all of Liverpool’s regular goalkeeper strips clashed with either Barca’s away kit or the referee’s uniform, New Balance had to design a special jersey for the Brazilian. And judging by his performance and Liverpool’s stunning win on the evening, we reckon he’d like to wear it for the final in Madrid as well!

Alisson made several fine saves, including a great one to deny Jordi Alba on the stroke of half time, as the Reds hammered Barca 4-0 in one of the greatest ever European nights in Anfield’s history. Continue reading →
