BCFC Nike Deal

New Birmingham City Nike Kit Deal | 4 year contract to replace Adidas as BCFC shirt partners

Birmingham City have announced a new kit deal with Nike that will see the latter (via Just Sport) replace German giants Adidas as the club’s new technical partners. The BCFC Nike kit deal is for a period of four years beginning the 2020/21 season meaning it will cover the 20/21, 21/22, 22/23 and 23/24 seasons.

Blues have had several different kit partners over the last decade. Chinese firm Xtep came on board in 2010 on a five year deal, but that contract was terminated in 2012. Diadora were then the club’s shirt makers for the 12/13 and 13/14 seasons, and BCFC sported the Carbrini logo in 2014/15 and 2015/16 before the club reached an agreement with Adidas in the summer of 2016. Like the new Nike contract, the Adidas deal was also for a period of four years.

This is the first time in their history that Birmingham will be wearing Nike made uniforms. Only one club in the 2019/20 Championship wore Nike, and that was Preston North End. Continue reading
