New Inter Milan Jersey 2020-21 | Nike unveil home kit for Nerazzurri with zigzag graphic

This is the new Inter home kit 2020/21, Internazionale Milano’s new home strip for the upcoming Serie A season. Made by Nike, the new Inter Milan home jersey was officially unveiled on June 30, 2020.

Inter’s new 20/21 home shirt features a zig-zag graphic on the front that is reminiscent of the Biscione (the slithering snake that is associated with the club). Nike have said that the uniform is inspired by the work done in the 80’s by graphic designers in the city of Milan.

The new Inter jersey will be paired with black shorts and predominantly blue socks, and will officially go on sale on July 1st. Two versions- one stadium and the other vapor (match version) will be available for supporters to buy,

New Aston Villa Cazoo Shirt Sponsorship Deal- Car retailer to replace W88 on AVFC kit

Aston Villa have today (June 29, 2020) announced a new shirt sponsorship deal with Cazoo that will see the online car retailer replace W88 as the club’s primary sponsors for the upcoming 2020/21 season. Villa’s deal with Cazoo comes around three weeks after the firm announced a deal with Everton to replace SportPesa.

Cazoo’s deal with Everton is for a period of three seasons and is valued at somewhere around £10m per year, but no financial details have been revealed regarding this contract with Villa. The company’s CEO Alex Chesterman was also the founder of Zoopla, the firm that sponsored West Bromwich Albion back in the 2012/13 and 2013/14 seasons (that WBA deal was reportedly worth £1.5m per season)

Having a non-gambling shirt sponsor also means that the junior Villa tops will be allowed to sport the same logo as the senior shirt.

Aston Villa are currently 19th in the Premier League, but have the same number of points as 17th placed West Ham, who are out of the drop zone due to their superior goal difference. The Hammers also revealed their new home kit earlier today. Continue reading →

New Borussia Monchengladbach Kit 2020-21 | Flatex replace Postbank as Gladbach shirt sponsor

This is the new Borussia Monchengladbach home kit 2020/21, Gladbach’s new primary jersey for the upcoming Bundesliga season. Made by Puma, the new MGB shirt was officially unveiled on June 29, 2020. Die Fohlen also chose to announce their new shirt sponsor- online brokers Flatex, who take over from Postbank.

Postbank have been on the front of Gladbach’s jerseys since 2009 and were reportedly paying the club somewhere around 7 million euros. The new Flatex deal is for a period of three years (till 2023) and will see the Frankfurt based firm pay Borussia around 10 million euros a season.

Gladbach finished fourth in the 2019/20 Bundesliga season, behind champions Bayern, BVB and Leipzig, thus ensuring a spot in the group stages of the Champions League next season.

No details of the shorts and socks were released by Gladbach, but the kit is expected to go on sale later this week. It will also serve as the club’s 120th anniversary strip- Borussia were founded back in 1900, and this is indicated by the 120 Jahre words below the club badge. Continue reading →
