Week 28 of the Premier League has just concluded and here is a look at how those games played out. All 10 produced a result- no fixture ended in a draw. Six of them went in favour of the home side, and four to the away one.
Leicester (Adidas) 1-0 Leeds (Adidas)
Aston Villa (Kappa) 4-0 Southampton (Hummel)
Burnley (Umbro) 0-4 Chelsea (Nike)
Newcastle (Castore) 2-1 Brighton (Nike)
Norwich (Joma) 1-3 Brentford (Umbro)
Wolves (Umbro) 0-2 Crystal Palace (Puma)
Liverpool (Nike) 1-0 West Ham (Umbro)
Watford (Kelme) 2-3 Arsenal (Adidas)
Man City (Puma) 4-1 Man Utd (Adidas)
Tottenham (Nike) 5-0 Everton (Hummel)
The week started with an all-Adidas clash between Leicester and Leeds, where Jesse Marsch’s first game as LUFC boss saw him lose 1-0. Leeds were the better side for most of the game (see map below), and deserved at least a point, if not all three.

It was a disappointing weekend for Hummel, both of whose teams lost by huge margins. Southampton were hammed 4-0 by Steven Gerrard’s Villa while Tottenham demolished Frank Lampard’s Everton 5-0.
The much-anticipated Manchester derby went the way of the Citizens, who beat Ralf Rangnick’s United 4-1. It was always going to be difficult for the Red Devils in the absence of Raphael Varane, Ronaldo and Luke Shaw, and those fears proved to be true as City, lead by mercurial medio Kevin de Bruyne, coasted to a comfortable triumph.
Jadon Sancho’s stunning individual effort to beat Ederson was the highlight of the game for United. Sancho’s potential has never been in question- it’s why fans head to sites like Seatpick to get tickets to United games, to see him play alongside the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Bruno Fernandes.
The result makes United’s next three home games- against Spurs, Atleti and Leicester, absolutely vital in the context of their season, and fans of the Red Devils are expected to be present in large numbers to cheer on their team at the Theatre of Dreams.
Another manufacturer for whom this was a weekend to forget was Umbro- Brentford got three priceless points against Norwich, but the other two outfitted by the double diamond- West Ham and Burnley, lost their respective clashes to Liverpool and Chelsea respectively. WHUFC were hopeful of doing a rare league double over the Reds coming into the game, and would’ve probably even managed that had Pablo Fornals and Manuel Lanzini capitalized on the easy chances that came their way.

A single loss goal to an in-form Liverpool outfit, especially with Declan Rice out and Jarrod Bowen being injured halfway through the game, was not a bad result for David Moyes’ men. Nevertheless, their season seems to be going off track- out of both Cups, the likes of Arsenal and Spurs catching up with them in the league table and Sevilla awaiting them in the Europa League.

Chelsea gave a league debut to their third kit in their 4-0 triumph over Burnley, while Arsenal wore an unique shorts and socks combo in their 3-2 win away at Watford.
Puma would be quite happy – not only did City ease to victory in the Derby, but their other team in Palace also claimed a fine 2-0 win away at Wolves.
