Manchester United have announced a new deal with blockchain platform Tezos that will see them become the club’s new training shirt sponsors. Tezos replace AON, who were on United’s training tops till the end of last season. The Red Devils have been training in the current 21/22 campaign without a training kit sponsor after a previously agreed deal with MyProtein (THG brand) broke down a few months ago.
The AON deal was reportedly worth around £15m a season (it lasted for 8 years), while this one with Tezos will be around £20m a season.
MUFC will wear the Tezos branded training tops for the first time this weekend when they play Southampton. Ralf Rangnick’s men are currently 5th in the table, & drew 1-1 with Burnley in midweek.

Tezos as sponsor, Bezos as owner to replace the Glazers soon then? 😛
