New Scotland Strip 2011-2012 Adidas Home Kit 11-12

This is the new Scotland strip 2011 2012, the Scottish national football team’s new 11/12 strip made by Adidas. This new Scotland home top 11/12 is the first bespoke design for the national team by Adidas ever since they took over the mantle of the side’s official kit sponsors from Diadora.

The new Scotland home top 11/12 was officially unveiled by Adidas on 11th October, 2011 along with the home goalkeeper kit. The top, as you can see in the pictures below, consists of a unique blue design along with the traditional Adidas stripes in whites. The shorts completing the strip are also white in colour. The jersey also contains the Scottish flag, Adidas logo and Scottish FA’s club crest. The crest pays homage to the one worn by the national team at the 1974 World Cup in Germany.

The likes of Charlie Adam, Darren Fletcher and Kenny Miller will be seen in this new Scotland strip during their forthcoming international games. White shorts and red socks complete the new look of the new Scottish strip 11/12

The strip is due to be officially unveiled on the 11th, so they ought to be taking orders/pre-orders in the near future.

Will be clearer on the 11th

The new strip is terrible. Retro itself is now old fashioned. It symbolises the SFAs “stuck in the past” and “our best days are behind us” attitude. We need to shake this off.

Last years Adidas strip was much better. This is now off my Christmas list.
