MLS outfit Portland Timbers have landed a new jersey sponsor in the form of Tillamook Dairy, with the Oregon based dairy co-operative coming on board in a multi-year deal.
The first Timbers jerseys with Tillamook on the front were debuted in today’s game against Seattle Sounders at home, a fixture the visitors won 2-1. Portland took the lead through Felipe Mora in the 15th minute but goals from Cristian Roldan and Raul Ruidiaz helped Seattle come from behind and claim a 2-1 win.
Portland were on the lookout for a new kit sponsor after they terminated their previous deal with DaBella owing to harassment allegations involving the latter’s CEO.
