This is the new Sunderland away kit 2022/23, SAFC’s new alternate shirt for the upcoming EFL Championship season. Made by Nike, the new SAFC away top made its debut in the club’s friendly against Accrington Stanley over the weekend and officially went on sale yesterday.

SAFC had released their new 22/23 home strip around three weeks ago, and this away jersey is a sky blue creation from the Nike stable, and is a nod to their 2002-03 away kit, in the words of the manufacturer. It will be paired with blue shorts & white socks, as can be seen below, and has the Spreadex logo on the front
