This is the new Queens Park Rangers 140th anniversary kit, a special, limited edition jersey that will be worn by the club when they take on West Bromwich Albion later today afternoon in the Championship. The QPR 140th anniversary shirt has been made by Errea and was officially unveiled on January 14, 2022.
The half and half shirt pays tribute to the colours worn by Christchurch Rangers back in 1882. The jersey also features a map of the Queen’s Park area- another nod to the club’s roots, with St.Jude’s Church on the map present close to the crest (St.Jude’s Institute and Christchurch Rangers merged to form QPR in 1886).
QPR and WBA are currently 5th and 4th in the Championship table, with a single point separating the two teams.
The retro badge on the strip was designed by QPR fans Daniel Norris & Daniel Bowyer.
One of those shirts that would look even better without the shirt sponsor.
