This is the new Motherwell home kit 2020/21, Motherwell FC’s new home strip for the upcoming Scottish Premiership season. Made by Macron, the new home top was officially unveiled on 11 June, 2020, a little over a week after the club released their blue change strip for 2020-21.
Like the new away kit, the home uniform is also a retro creation and takes inspiration from the club’s 1950 Scottish League Cup winning side. 2020 will mark the 70th anniversary of that famous triumph.
The new home jersey is in the club’s famous claret and amber colours, with the central amber band extending to the sleeves. The shirt cuffs and the collar both have white detailing, and the kit is completed by white shorts and claret and amber socks. The back of the jersey is plain, and has “Steelmen” on the top, as can be seen in the pics below.
The home kit currently does not have a shirt sponsor, but one will be added later in the summer.
Macron have aced this season’s kits for Motherwell. Just hope they aren’t spoiled by the eventual shirt sponsor.
Their blue away shirt is my favourite kit released so far this season. This one’s good, but not as good as the blue one.
Like this. A good effort from Macron. They’ve done some great shirts for this next season.
Old school and stylish at the same time.
Nice shirt looking more retro than modern. The sponsor’s logo will be decisive.
