This is the new Motherwell away kit 20/21, MFC’s new change strip for the upcoming Scottish Premiership season. Made by Macron, the new Well alternate top was officially unveiled on 2 June, 2020.
The blue kit pays tribute to the club’s origins- Motherwell were formed by the merger of Glencairn FC and Alpha FC in 1886, and predominantly wore blue uniforms from their year of inception to 1913, when they switched to their more famous claret and amber kits.
The new away shirt features claret, white and amber bands on the centre. The word “Steelmen” can be seen on the reverse of the jersey. Predominantly blue shorts and white socks complete the look of Motherwell’s 2020/21 alternate strip.
Well finished 3rd in the SPL in 19/20 behind champions Celtic and second placed Rangers, which means they will be competing in Europa League qualifying next season.
Well hello there Sampdoria!
On a serious note, an early contender for best kit of the 2020/21 season in Scotland IMO.
Love this kit. Like the style of the collar.
Thatβs not the best kit in Scotland, thatβs the best kit anywhere ππ»ππ»ππ»ππ» Macron
Different from Motherwell, in a good way. Nice job!
